Second batch of De La Salle University Dasmariñas – Bachelor of Science in Human Biology students at their 2nd and 3rd year.
They were consist of 107 students along with their 8 faculty members and 5 Haranah travel and tours coordinators.
Arrived last November 24, 2016 at 7 in the evening. Upon arrival of the students, faculty members and travel coordinators they proceed to main pool side pavilion for their dinner. Buffet dinner was prepared for the group in combination of beef, pork and fish dishes with steamed rice and refreshing drinks.
After dinner front office staff and travel coordinators helped each other in distributing room keys to the students. By then the students started carrying their things going to their rooms. They were advised to go back to the pool side pavilion for discussion of house rules and regulations of Eagle Point Resort.
The student gathered at the pool sode again and listen to the house rules and regulations of Eagle Point Resort being discussed by one of their faculty members. After that they all be seated base on their groupings (they were grouped by their instructors for their activities) and check all the things they have gathered along their way to Eagle Point Resort. These are plants, flowers, insects and some other creatures related to their study collected in Tagaytay. After that they also start searching for those around Eagle Point for their night samples.
ON THE NEXT DAY…
Even though the weather is not good still the coast guard in Anilao let us and the students to still visit Sepoc. Right after breakfast they prepare their things and go to the boat.
Arrival at Sepoc…
The participants arrived at Sepoc with excitement even though the weather is quite cloudy. They started planning on what they have to do in order to enjoy the beauty of the water of Sepoc Beach and to finish all the requirements needed for their activities.
By the time given, they have started searching for things underwater and on the forest side of Sepoc.
The fruits of their labor!! They have gathered different kinds of marine and mangroove species like sea urchins, sea cucumber, blue star fish, coral stones and other plants from the water and from the mangrooves.
This sea urchin spikes are really scary..
Around 1pm we decided to travel back to the main resort and spent the rest of the day their. Even though the students had stayed at Sepoc for a short time, they indeed enjoyed it. They wanted to stay for long hours but unfortunately we cannot let them due to weather disturbance. They we’re thankful that even thought the weather forecast is unstable we still manage to let them visit this hidden paradise.
