Eagle Point Beach and Dive Resort celebrates OctoberFest. Octoberfest celebration, originally scheduled for October 23-24 was extended until the 25th. A month before the scheduled celebration, we already arranged the 9-Lives band to perform for the said event. October 23 – we have had 2 corporate groups and very small number of FIT guests so the F&B Department just gave them special discount for the drinks to start the Octoberfest celebration.
October 24- since we have good numbers of arriving FIT guests we coordinated with the F&B about the planned program for the celebration. We have the band, face painting, and sausage eating on the list. Every FIT guests registering at the reception were informed about the activities.
We invited guests to participate with the contest but everyone was reluctant to join so only the face painting and band entertainment pushed through. Checked the arrival for the next day and found out that we have almost the same number of arrivals so we requested to the OM that we extend the band for another night and the activities for the Octoberfest celebration; it was agreed.
October 25 – same procedure with the guests checked in. later in the afternoon we invited our guests again. Roy Cheung’s Group and other FIT guests agreed to join the sausage eating contests. Around 8:00 pm we started the sausage eating contest. Mr. Roy Cheung’s group participated and the other dive group. There were 8 contestants who joined the contest.
Guests have had a lot of fun. Mr. Johnny from Roy Cheung’s Group won the contest and for his prize, the F&B department prepared a tall glass of cocktail.
To sum it up, the celebration was successful and full of fun.
